Happy Friday!

Happy, happy, Friday!!

I honestly wasn't sure this day would ever come this week!

I have lots of blogging material lined up for next week but I thought it would be fun to do a Questions and Answers post in Vlog form!
That's right, you as question & I will answer them in a Vlog.

So ask away, ladies (& Gentlemen??)!

This weekend is my Bachelorette party & Bridal Shower!
I'll be back with a full recap Sunday evening! :)

I also know that some of you have wanted me to let you all know how I feel about my Erin Condren Life Planner (you can see about my ordering it here!) & I do plan to address that next week! :)

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Thursday Thoughts - Registry Stalking!

Well, ladies, we've made it!
We're over the hump & the work week is almost over!

We are now ONE MONTH away from the wedding. 30 days people, 30 days!

Adam came home last week and the following conversation occured:

A: Babe! Do you stalk our wedding registries?
K: No. I have never even thought to do that, why?
A: Well, I know how much you hate surprises & Tim (co-worker) told me that he & Chelsey (co-workers wife) checked theirs everyday while they were engaged.
K: Really? Isn't that kind of rude?
A: Ya, I feel like it is.
I feel that if I peak, I'll become obsessed and in turn begin to stalk. I also feel that we owe it to our guests to be surprised with the gifts they give us and not have to act surprised - this comes from the girl who used to unwrap & re-wrap my Christmas gifts & then pretend to be surprised!

I also feel that we're in a place where we're getting married because we want to be married and start our lives together, as Husband & Wife, not because we are eager to receive gifts.

So, my question for you. Did you peak at your registry? Stalk your registry? Or did you allow yourself to be completely surprised?

I am not here to judge anyone who did peak, stalk, or plans to peak or stalk, their own registry.
These are our own personal choices & opinions on the matter! :)

So What! Wednesday

Happy Hump Day friends!

I am playing along with Shannon over at Life After I Dew today!

Head on over the her blog to link up if you wanna say So What! to something today too!

So what if I haven't blogged about my invitations yet, when I've promised them many times. I had planned to feature them today but I didn't get home until 930 last night and felt like my head needed to hit my pillow.

So what if I can be caught singing & dancing around the office on Friday's to Backstreet Boys, N*Sync & Owtown. I'm alone in the office & a girl can be productive when rocking out to her teenage heart throbs.

So what if my cousin brings her kids to our wedding in denim & is refused entry at the door because "to be honest country clubs don't care about the kids attire" after I've kindly let her know of the strictly enforced dress code - ain't my problem!

So what if I am at the point of our wedding planning process that I don't give a rats boot-ay what anyone else wants. Last time I checked this isn't your wedding - it's ours. Our wants & needs are going to be put first. Don't like it? Don't care!

So what if I had a melt down in a restaurant this weekend. This girl was hungry, stressed out, and PMSing. Stop staring - it's rude. Can't a girl cry in public?

So what if after reading Chelsea's post I've had "It Wasn't Me" stuck in my head. It's a catchy tune!

So what if I have laundry to do & won't get to it until Friday. My evenings this week are BOOKED. & right now my cut & color & my dress fitting are priority.

So what if we're ready for the wedding to just be here so we can stop having to answer 42 questions about all the details & do some major spring cleaning. I'm ready to have my house back & all the wedding items out of our guest room!

So what if this blog is looking a mess right now. We're under construction. Bare with me loves! It'll be worth it, promise!

Happy Wednesday, loves! :)

Top 2 Tuesday - Top 2 Favorite Songs on iPod

I'm so glad that Taylor cheated on this one and selected 4 of her favorite songs because I doubt I could just pick 2.

This week's top 2 Tuesday is "Top 2 songs on your iPod"

I have to confess.. None of the songs I'm about to pick are actually on my iPod mainly because I rarely use my iPod but I do plan on adding them to my iTunes soon.

I'm going to pick 4. My top 2 Country & top 2 pop songs right now.

I'll start with country.

1) Blake Shelton - Who Are You When I'm not Looking

I love this song. I think it's so beautiful & it totally makes me think back to the days before Adam & I lived together when there were so many things that he didn't know about me and that I didn't know about him. I also love Blake Shelton's voice and I think he sings this song beautifully.

If you'd like to watch Blake's official Video of Who are you When I'm not Looking please go here.

2) Miranda Lambert - The House that Built Me

Another beautiful song that I absolutely love! This song totally reminds me of my childhood. So many things happen in your childhood home and everyone has many memories from their childhood home. I can only imagine what it's like to go back to your childhood home and it not belong to your parents anymore. I love Miranda Lambert and am so glad that she did so well at the ACM's. She is such an amazing artist.

Now on to my 2 favorite pop songs.

1) Cee Lo Green - Forget You

This is such a fun song. Every time I hear it I get in the mood to dance and sing along. I love the beat!

2) The Plain White T's - Rhythm of Love

I love this song. Again a fun and upbeat song that you just can't help but sing along to!

Weekend Wrap Up

Hi Ladies!
I hope you had a fabulous weekend and an amazing Monday.
Adam was out of town this weekend so I had a wedding weekend planned but none of my to-do list was accomplished!

He left Friday morning for Kennewick to visit his brother, Ben, for Ben's birthday. I was originally supposed to go but figured it would probably be best if I just stayed home to tackle wedding projects.

Saturday morning I had plans to go shopping with my sister, mom & two best friends for bridal shower attire. My mom & I had planned to split off from there to go gather the goodies for the kids buckets. We were then going to assemble them and attempt our second shot at favors. That didn't go as planned though.
I was having a rough morning shopping.. Just one of those days when you just can't seem to find anything you love. We were at it for about 2 hours when we decided to go grab some lunch at The Ram.

We walked to The Ram and the hostess told me that they didn't have a Gluten Free menu (if you would like to read more about my journey going Gluten Free read here.) but that our waitress would have a list of Gluten Free options. Everyone was ready to order about 5 minutes after sitting down. Our waitress came over & I asked about their GF options & she said they had none. If I wanted a GF meal they had to make serious modifications. This normally wouldn't be a big deal but I thought they had a list of options that were easily modified to be GF or were already GF. I was so hungry, hadn't even glanced at the menu & had to find something to eat quickly. After some serious frustration I figured something out & we ordered. I made sure the waitress knew I have Celiac & she was fabulous. She asked a ton of questions to make sure that she got it right with the chef. Well our food comes out & I look down to see that my steak has an onion ring on top of it... I couldn't even talk. I just started crying. The poor manager didn't know what to do. He just looked at me, looked at my mom, sister & friends with an unsure look that my sister said was an "Crap, I screwed that up big time" look. My sister told him what was up & he quickly removed my plate, brought my out a baked potato & had my new steak prepared correctly out with in 5 minutes! I ate & my emotions changed pretty quickly. This was my first melt down in 12 weeks but it was major!

After lunch we went back to shopping and I did end up finding an adorable outfit for my bridal shower. You'll be able to see that next week when I do the Bridal Shower recap Sunday evening.

Sunday afternoon Adam got home at about 4 and said "We have to leave by 430, Trent is giving us their courtside seats for tonights game as a Wedding Gift!" Say what?? We had awesome seats. We were on the floor with only 2 people in between us and the court! We had so much fun.

The Blazers played the Dallas Mavericks and we came out on top! The guys played awesome and we definitely caught some awesome plays up close and personal! I was proud of myself for remembering to charge my camera! :) Enjoy the pics!
